We warmly welcome debaters across the world to the inaugural Korea Debate Open.
Korea Debate Open (KDO) has been put together with two objectives in mind:
01. To create a vibrant debate community between high school and university debaters (and alumni) by creating a platform where high school and university debaters can compete against, and interact with each other.
02. To prepare debaters in Eas...t Asia for the upcoming WUDCs by making top-notched debate tournaments accessible within the region.
1. Tournament Overview
Team Cap 60
British Parliamentary Debate Format
7 Rounds, Quarter Finals - Finals, EFL Semi Finals - Finals
Registration Fee (per debater/adjudicator)
- 120USD (without accommodation)
- 320USD (with 3 nights at a 4-star hotel, currently under negotiation)
4 meals, 2 socials (break night, championship dinner)

4. Adjudicator Policy
N-1 for Institutional Teams (from the same institution)
Composite Teams (debaters from two different institutions) do NOT need to fulfill the N rule
