Since it was first developed by the American military, the use of the Internet has been on the rise at an extremely rapid rate. There were people who had never heard of e-mails just fifteen years ago. Now, people can download movies and music from the Internet, not to mention loads of various information and data, Because of increased usage, there has also been an escalation of Internet crime. What we want to do today is to discuss Internet censorship. There are growing numbers of Internet sites containing violent and X-rated graphics, This has not only created debates on ethical and moral issues, but also a dilemma on where to draw a line in regards to the appropriate age and the degree of information. Many governments have stepped in to censor the Internet because of increased violence and unsuitable graphics, which direct to Internet crimes.
