Greetings debaters from all over the world!
My name is Joohyeok Lee and I am a debater affiliated to Chung-Ang University Debate Society(CUDS) who is also the Convener for 2018 Winter ADI.
We are very happy to announce that we will have our 24th Asian Debate Institute (ADI) this winter from 29th of January to 6th of February, 2018. The ADI is a nine-day debate workshop held in Chung-Ang University in which productive debate lectures are given by the best debate coaches, debaters of all Asia. The ADI is the best opportunity for those who are not really familiar with debate and wish to gain good experience and meet new friends. This ADI, we’re going to open the workshop in the Asia Parliamentary (AP)format. Those who are new to AP, it will be a great opportunity!
Dates: 29th of January to 6th of February, 2018.
Location: Chung-Ang University, Seoul, Republic of Korea (South Korea)
Standard Registration: 12th to 21st December, 2017
- Cost 300,000 KRW per participant.
(200,000 for international participants.)
Late Registration: 22th of December to 1st of January, 2017
- Cost 350,000 KRW per participant.
(350,000 for international participants.)
We have a cap for this Summer ADI to prevent participants from being unable to participate despite having successfully registered. The cap is 200 participants, and will be taken on a first come first serve basis. The schedule will be largely based on small-group lab sessions with more opportunity for debaters to have debates.

Also, there is a wonderful debate competition after ADI which is called CUDS Open.
This is one of the best, prestigious and competitive debate competition. If you want to have more opportunity to practice debate skills that you learned from ADI, it would be a perfect chance for you.
If you participate both ADI and Cuds open, participation fee of Cuds open will be discounted. It would be a great chance for you to participate Adi and Cuds open. It will help you more.
