Greetings debaters from all over the world!

I’m Keunwoo Choi, a debater affiliated to Chung-Ang University Debate Society (CUDS) and the convener of 2018 CUDS Open.

This post contains general information about the 2018 CUDS open, which will be held right after Winter ADI.

CUDS Open is the ONLY open AP tournament in Korea! It is an extremely cheap but high quality tournament. It's so awesome, it's the best!

Our CAP will be composed of renowned and highly respected debaters/judges. They’re too good, they will be providing you with thought-provoking yet balanced motions. And about your opponents, they will require you to bring your a-game. They're very competitive, you’ll realize that there is no such thing as 'debate retirement.' Want some proof? CUDS Open is an annual tradition of excellence. So come and experience it for yourself!

*For ADI participants, this is a perfect chance to directly apply your debating skills from ADI. Registration discounts are provided. You might even get a chance to debate against your lab trainers. It's going to be exciting! As always.;)

*Dates: 2018 February 7~9 (Wednesday to Friday)

*Venue: Chung-Ang University, Seoul, Republic of Korea (South Korea)

*Team CAP: 36 Team

*Registration Phase 1: January 1~ January 14, 2018

*Registration Phase 2: January 20~ January 30, 2018

*Registration Fee
-Debaters: 45,000 KRW
-ADI participating Debaters: 35,000 KRW
-Adjudicators: 30,000 KRW
*Registration Policy: N=1 (1 judge per team)
