전세계의 남녀노소 누구나 참가 자격에 제한이 없이 토론자나 심사위원으로 등록하실 수 있는 대회입니다.
코로나로 인해 온라인으로 진행됩니다.

Hi KIDA!
Registration of KIDA Open 2021 is now open! Please read the information below carefully and approach us if there are questions
1. Date: 2021.8.21 (SAT) ~ 2020.8.22 (SUN)
2. Registration Fee: 25,000 KRW per person
3. Adj rule: N=1 per team (This means each team must bring 1 judge.)
4. Registration deadline & cancellation Policy: Participants can only register and cancel no later than 11:59 PM, 8/13 (KST). If participants cancel their registration after this timeline, it is impossible for them to get paid back for their registration fee.

6. Novice standard
You are a novice debater if you broke at NO MORE THAN two collegiate-level tournaments as a debater.
Breaks do not include Rookie Tournaments, reserve breaks, rookie breaks, and EFL breaks at domestic tournaments.
Breaks do include open breaks at all competitive collegiate-level tournaments and both EFL/ESL breaks at international tournaments.

If both debaters are novice speakers, your team is considered a novice team and can break in the novice league. If one debater is a novice speaker, then that speaker is eligible for a novice speaker award.
Please read the instructions carefully and register as a novice if you are eligible.
7. Language Form
Registration period: 2021.07.26(MON) ~ 2021.08.13(FRI)
According to KIDA Constitution 8.1, the EFL Criteria of KNC stands as such:
- No more than one year of living in an English-speaking country after the age of seven (international age);
and/or one school year experience of primary/secondary level that has English as the main language of instruction in a non-English speaking country (foreign language high schools do not count, whereas international/foreign schools do - i.e. SFS, YISS, KIS);
and/or no more than two school years of experience studying in a department of college/university that has English as the main language of instruction in a non-English speaking country.
